1400 EV Chargers Supplied by Servotech Power Systems in Three Months By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Fri, Jan 20th, 2023 Highlights : These chargers include public sector projects, retail customers, and other strategic alliances that Servotech has taken up and entered into. Of these 1400, Servotech has delivered and set up 600 electric vehicle chargers at different retail locations of BPCL. The majority of these chargers have been supplied and set up in carefully chosen locations throughout BPCL’s retail fuel and gas stations in various cities around the country. NSE-listed EV Charging and solar power solutions provider Servotech Power Systems Ltd, has supplied 1400 EV chargers in a span of three months of November to January at different locations across the country. These chargers include public sector projects, retail customers, and other strategic alliances that Servotech has taken up and entered into. Of these 1400, Servotech has delivered and set up 600 electric vehicle chargers at different retail locations of BPCL. The majority of these chargers have been supplied and set up in carefully chosen locations throughout BPCL’s retail fuel and gas stations in various cities around the country. States of the likes of Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Gujarat among others have been covered under what is being dubbed as the Green Corridor which will be dotted with EV charging points and capabilities. Servotech had bagged the project with BPCL last year and is worth Rs 46.2 crores. It is expected to reach completion by 31 March, 2023. Upon reaching the landmark, Servotech Founder and Managing Director, Raman Bhatia noted, “The successful installation of these EV charging stations in public spaces is the first of many steps that will enable the EV revolution in the nation. As a result, Servotech contributes significantly to India’s EV charging infrastructure. Our cohesive and research-driven strategy has had a substantial positive influence on the growth of this ecosystem and the promotion of EV adoption in the nation. We are still dedicated to contributing significantly to the national aim of moving toward green mobility, working with other stakeholders. Going ahead, we aim to localise the major chunk of our product and solution offerings within a few years.” Servotech Power Systems Limited struck an agreement with the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), one of the leading solar bodies of India. Additionally, Servotech will also install carport installation for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) offices in Delhi, which will serve as a test site for other key locations. Last year in September, the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has awarded the 1.8 MW off-grid solar project (Second Solar Project) to Servotech Power Systems. This 1.8 MW of off-grid solar project’s overall contract value is about Rs 30 crore. After acquiring a 4.1 MW grid-interactive rooftop solar power plant project from UPNEDA earlier in the month, Servotech had acquired a second significant project from UPNEDA.
