ETO Motors Deploys Over 50 E-rickshaws in Gujarat By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Dec 14th, 2021 Highlights : In partnership with The Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority (SOUADTGA), ETO deployed its TriLux e-rickshaws at Kevadia, Gujarat. The three-wheeler comprises the following key features: a safety belt for both passengers and driver, an ergonomically adjustable driver seat, a rear crash guard, a 13-inch wheel and a sturdy suspension. Electric mobility solutions provider ETO Motors has deployed over 50 e-rickshaws at Kevadia in Gujarat, in partnership with The Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority (SOUADTGA). The company is further considering deploying over 350 EVs in the next four to six months in a bid to make Kevadia an electric vehicle-only city. The entire fleet of the 50 TriLux e-rickshaws is being operated by women drivers, as part of the company’s aim to run environment-friendly vehicles and provide women with employment opportunities. The Electronic City metro station in Noida would also serve as a charging hub for vehicles, which is a part of the 3000 MWs of EV charging infrastructure that the ETO has already set up across different location in the country.
