GEDA Invites Bids for 1.2 MW Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar Project

Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) has invited bid for 1.2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at North Goa and South Goa District hospitals.

The last date to submit the bid is October 20, 2022, and the bids will be opened on October 21, 2022.

This GEDA 1.2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar tender includes the scope of work in complete design, shadow analysis of rooftop, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing & commissioning of 1.2 MW solar PV projects including five years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services of the project. The completion time for this 1.2 MW solar project is six months from the date of receiving the letter of acceptance (LoA).

The North Goa District Hospital’s solar project’s estimated construction cost is Rs. 3.728 crores. The estimated project cost of the South Goa District Hospital solar plant is Rs. 3.8 crores.

The selected bidder also will be required to submit 0.2% of the projected tender value (up to a maximum of Rs. 6,000) as a tender processing fee. Each interested bidder will have to submit Rs. 15 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD)/bid security amount. Also, the successful bidder is required to provide a security deposit equal to 3% of the total contract value.

The bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with ground-mounted solar power projects connected to the grid within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance of solar power plants.

The average annual turnover of the bidder should be Rs. 1 Cr in the preceding three financial years. The net worth of the bidder should also be positive for the last Financial Year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: 

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses).
