MSEDCL Issues RfS For Purchase Of Power For Solar Power Projects By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Mon, Aug 1st, 2022 Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has issued an RfS for the purchase of power on long term basis through competitive bidding process for 500 MW inter/intra state grid connected solar photovoltaic power projects. The timeline for the online submission of response to RfS is August 30, 2022 at 15.00 hrs. All documents are to be submitted as per Section 3.21A physically at MSEDCL office at Mumbai. The cost of the RfS document stands at Rs 25,000 to be paid online. The processing fee is Rs 3 lakhs. The Earnest Money Deposit is Rs 4.72 lakh/MW. This it to be submitted in the form of bank guarantee with response to RfS. Before the submission of the proposal, a bidder is needed to make online payment through the payment gateway on the E-bidding portal. The ETS bidding/ revers auction fee is Rs 15,000 and is non-refundable. MSEDCL recently received permission from the MERC for the adoption of tariff for long-term power procurement from 14 MW solar projects selected through a competitive bidding process.
