OREDA Invites RFP for Selection of Solar Power Generator in Odisha

Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has invited a request for proposal (RFP) for the selection of solar power generators (SPG) for the development of a project under the KUSUM-A scheme in Odisha on a Build-Own-Operate (B-O-O) basis.

The power purchase agreement (PPA) and model land lease agreement (LLA) will together form an integral part of the RFP.

The agency has said that the RFP providing requisite details about the bidding process will be made available on the e-procurement website (http://www.tenderwizard.com/OREDA) on or before the due dates mentioned here. The RFP was published on the e-procurement website and OREDA website on May 10, 2021, and the deadline for the receipt of pre-bid queries on the RFP was 1 p.m. on May 19, 2021. The pre-bid online meeting was scheduled to be held on May 21, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. E-copies of the technical bids and the price bids were to submitted by 5 pm on May 22, 2021, while the hard copies of the technical bids for select forms only were to be submitted by 1 p.m. today. Online technical bids, except price bids, were planned to be opened today at 3 p.m.

The agency has said that the schedule for the opening of the online price bids, applicable only for those bidders whose online technical bids shall be responsive, will be intimated later. The deadline for the e-reverse auction as per the terms of the RFP, if applicable, only for the bidders whose price bids will be responsive, will also be intimated later.

The bidders are requested to write to OREDA at the email id [email protected] for any additional information. They are also requested to contact the e-procurement service provider (M/s. Tender Wizard) for online registration on the e-procurement website. The OREDA is the State Nodal Agency for promotion of renewable energy and aims to enhance the proliferation of rooftop solar within Odisha for projects less than 1 MW.
