REIL Issues Tender for 50 MWp Grid-Connected Solar Power Plants

Rajasthan Electronics And Instruments Limited has issued a tender for 50 MWp grid connected roof top and small ground mounted solar power plants for government buildings in different states/ union territories of india under RESCO model.

The tender fee is INR 25,000 and the contract will be on turnkey basis.

The bid opening date is 06.02.2023 at 3.30 PM. The bid submission end date is 04.02.2023 at 6 PM.

The scope of the work would essentially cover, but not limited to site survey of identified rooftops and surplus lands, identification of new rooftops and surplus land, site visit, solar potential assessment, finalization of plant capacity for identified locations, execution of PPA (in the prescribed format attached herewith this NIT document), design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing & commissioning, interconnections with the grid for net metering & obtaining all statutory approvals, quality control of the grid connected rooftop solar PV project including Operation and Maintenance (O & M) of the project for a period of 25 years after commissioning of project. Any additional modification work of the rooftops solar power plant in order to implement the system/project shall be in the scope of successful bidder.

The PPA signing will be 24 Months from the date of issuance of NOA/LOA. The work completion –will be within 6 months from the date of signing of PPA.

The Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) which aims to accelerate grid solar power and towards this, grid connected rooftop and small ground solar PV have an important role to play.

Recently, electric vehicle charging service provider Statiq revealed that the company received an order from Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd. (REIL) for the delivery of 253 rapid electric vehicle (EV) chargers that will be employed on four critical highway projects.
