Kolkata’s Bridge and Roof Co. Floats 2.25 MW Grid-Connected Solar Tender

A Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise that delves into construction and infrastructure, Bridge And Roof Company India Ltd (B&CIL) has floated a 2.25 MW of grid-connected solar tender for Kidderpore Dock-II at Syama Prasad Mukerjee Port Kolkata, West Bengal.

The last date for submitting the bid for this B&CIL 2.25 MW solar power project is December 08, 2022, till 05:30 pm & bids will be opened on December 09, 2022, at 05:30 pm.

The scope of work of this Bridge And Roof Company India Ltd 2.25 MW tender includes design, engineering, site development, manufacture, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing & commissioning. The scope of work also includes operation & maintenance (O&M) services.

The estimated cost of the whole project is Rs. 1400 lakh. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 500 (+ 18% GST) as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. Each awarded bidder will have to pay Rs. 42000 as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee. 

To procure this solar tender, the bidder should have designed, supplied, installed & commissioned at least one grid-connected solar PV power plant with a minimum capacity of 250 kWp. The cumulative capacity of the grid-connected solar PV power plants should not be less than 50% of quoted capacity commissioned in the last five years, before the bid submission date. 

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows:
