PEDA Floats Tender to Set Up 220 MW Solar Plants in Punjab Also Read For all 4 solar tenders, the scope of work for the selected bidders will include setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 10,000/- (for each 4MW) as a bidding document fee & also pay the bid evaluation charges of Rs. 90,000/-(for each 4MW), both charges are non-refundable. The awarded bidder will have to pay Rs. 40 lakhs (for each 4MW) as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee. The selected bidder/supplier must provide a performance bank guarantee (PBG) to the buyer for 3% of the contract price within 15 days of receiving the work order. To procure this PEDA tender, the bidder must have experience operating and maintaining solar PV projects with a combined capacity of at least 2 MW for at least one year in any of the previous five years. That project is still successfully operational as of the date of the bid opening. The bidder must provide the data regarding supplies and good performance in the proformas that are attached for the previous five years.
