Job Description

You will be working as Design Engineer LV panels – Electrical, reporting to Project Manager for Electrification business area, Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and analyzing the design of equipment, systems, or installations, including specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction on assignments of medium to high complexity using established solutions

Responsibilities:-

  • Providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivering within budget and contract value
  • Reviewing tender documents and preparing/modifying drawings in accordance with required safety regulations and contractual requirements and in line with Artu-k standards TTA assembly
  • Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to identify and select enclosure part to build power enclosure panel
  • Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost
  • Verifying or inspecting the Artu-k panel in line with standards and type tested assembly
  • Assigning tasks to and coordinating work with entry level engineers, technicians, administrative staff

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in LV switchgear
  • Experience working on components like ACB, MCCB, Soft Starters, VFD, ATS, Transformer Bus duct
  • Knowledge about design of electrical control panels according to relevant standards like IEC 61439, IEC 60204, IEC 61921
  • Knowledge in MS Office, Auto CAD, EPLAN, SAP
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally
